Wrapping up a four-day practice visit by the Denver Broncos onSaturday night, the Cowboys defeated the Broncos, 31-20, led bytwo rushing touchdowns by Marion Barber III and one by JuliusJones. The loss could be especially painful for the Broncos. Starting running back Travis Henry had 10 carries for 25 yardsbefore leaving the game in the second quarter with a left kneesprain. Backup running back Mike Bell strained his left hip in the thirdquarter and did not return. The Broncos had been in Dallas most of the week working out withthe Cowboys, but had very little to show for it when it countedSaturday night. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo played the entire first half andcompleted 11-of-18 passing for 122 yards. Romo also had over100 yards playing just one quarter last week againstIndianapolis. Romo led the Dallas offense down the field repeatedly withdrives of 47, 60, 69 and 30 yards. Barber, who had touchdowns runs of 1 and 5 yards, ended thenight with 57 yards on 11 carries.
