Yeah, I don't think going to a big lineup would've helped with LaMarcus in foul trouble. That would've forced Channing on either Jackson or Maggette, and that's an advantage for GS on both sides of the floor since Frye is not an inside force.

We had chances, but couldn't hit the big shot to get us over the hump, and plus bonehead officiating.

He does some good things, but I don't know if I'd trust him yet in fourth quarter down the stretch and play him over Outlaw or Rudy.
Just like MB said on the broadcast, Batum is like a relief pitcher who is filling in as a starter and will give you a good 4-5 innings, but you might not want to let him go 6-7-8 innings.
His jump shot is still a little shaky too.

Well, I just made the hour drive home from the game. Went to the game with a friend who's a Warriors fan and even he said that we got screwed on AT LEAST two calls late in the game. That retarded inbounds play was a foul ON THE WARRIORS, not Rudy!!! And after that, Outlaw was mugged with no call. And several instances before that, the moronic refs gave the home crowd a bunch of BS calls!!!

For what it's worth, the guys in the row in front of me were just in awe of Oden. They kept saying: "how big is that guy? And how the hell do you stop him?" Those were some ridiculous put backs and dunks he had late in the game - impressed even the home crowd!

Yes. Batum should be getting all of Frye's minutes, at least against teams like Golden State. I like Frye, I just think somebody simply needs to be cut out of the rotation, and I nominate Frye. Move Outlaw to backup PF if you have to.

I was also confused about Nate's sporadic use of Bayless, for the first time in ages. Not sure what Nate was going for, but it didn't work. I'm in no way saying this was Nate's fault, I just didn't get some of his decisions tonight. Then again, there's not much about tonights game I understand.

Can't wait to hear Gavin and CIP say how the Blazers can't win with Oden now, and Greg will just put up numbers on a non-playoff team.

Batum is solid when he's out there. The ONLY thing holding him back is a reliable jumpshot. He brings a ton of intangibles and is one of our best, if not best, perimeter defender. With a jumper, he could be a 6'9" version of Raja Bell. A lock-down defender who's a smart offensive player, too.

His potential is crazy good. I'd even look to bring in Pippen, who wants to get into coaching, in a player development role for Batum.

Oden seems to be blaming himself for his five turnovers, despite his 22/10.

I hope he starts tomorrow. I heard Nate say earlier today that he's going to keep Oden coming in off the bench because we have a good rhythm... I think the last three games we've played pretty ugly actually, it's to our credit we were in any of them, and actually won one of them. I say make the change, start him, we're not really insync currently anyways. I think the right time is tomorrow, even though he hasn't yet played well in a nationally televised game.

I think Brandon WAS trying to kick it out but I think Frye got in the way...

This just in, Anthony Morrow (who, right?) stayed after the game and scored another 134 points....he thought the blazers were still playing a zone. Sure they were on their bus, but what difference does that make?

No chance to comment on game earlier, but right up until the phantom foul call on Rudy I was sure the Blazers would pull it out. It was clear to me, Brandon Roy hits a 3 to tie and the Blazers win in OT. No one saw a foul. No one. The ref was hallucinating.

Free throws in 4th quarter were GSW 19 Blazers 5. 'nuff said.

Oden clearly needs more practices with the team as his timing is off. Timing is really the last thing that comes back and since he returned in the midst of a long road trip hasn't had the practices he needs. Saying he cost the game is bull. There were a lot of really bone headed turnovers, phantom calls (Maggette obviously took an advanced degree in the Divac Flopping University) but also silly fouls by a number of Blazers. In spite of all that they had every chance to win until a phantom foul took the game out of reach; you can't overcome 6 points in 5 seconds. But just think how good he'll be when he pulls all that mad talent together. The man is a monster, in a good way. Brandon was good, Przy solid. Batum did not show a lot. They got nothing from the PF position, Aldridge and Frye were liabilites. Even Outlaw did little until the final minutes. Blake hit some 3s early when no one else could hit the broad side of a barn. Rudy & Sergio both looked good,

Got to meet up with Stomp and his friend, that was nice.

BTW, the Warriors have gotten even more fan unfriendly. The first 6 rows on all sides of the arena have special covers. No one is allowed to go past that point unless they have a ticket for those 6 rows. So NO player autographs at all, no photos. Absolutely no player/fan contact is allowed.

There was a moment of silence for Pete Newell and during the silence a very classless person yelled "Go Blazers". That person has no business being a Blazer fan. Someone that classless can only be a Lakers (or maybe Knicks) fan.

During intermission I heard some moron telling another how pissed he is at Brandon Roy for "stealing" Baron Davis' all star spot. I did not say anything since it would be butting in and honestly, when people are that dumb, trying to talk sense to them is like trying to explain Obama is not a secret Muslim to a person whose sole news source is Rush Limbaugh. They aren't interested in facts, like the fact that coaches, not players, determine all star reserves. The spot was not Davis' and Roy did not and could not "steal" it.
