Thank God I didn't stay up late and watch this game, but man, we sure embarrassed ourselves last night. I guess the Suns are just that much better than us. At least this game gave Yao and TMac some rest.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting evolidiot:</div><div class="quote_post">Thanks for he welcome AznxBaller. I agree with most of what up say but I still believe Yao can change his technique to get more rebounds. Their is one play in the suns game that demonstrates my point. A Suns player took a shot, and Yao, instead of keeping his eyes on the ball, he looked behind him 2 or 3 times to look for someone to box out. The shot went in, so their was no rebound to get, but this play kind of shows that Yao may be being too fundamentally sound in always looking to box out. If the shot had missed, Yao would've had a hard time getting the rebound because he kept looking behind, even though there was no one close to him. Ok just kidding -- we're always glad to have a new poster to argue with. The Rockets posters here are one of the best, and most biased posters on JBB. . . So stick around. Anyways back to the Game, some may think I am being too optimistic, but the reality is, as someone pointed out before, if the Rockets were to go 24-6 we'd make the playoffs. That isn't incredibly hard, especially for this team. Does anyone remember when we had those huge spurts of winning streaks after the ASB? Could definitely happen here. Maybe, I am just pissed off, as last year I made some bold predictions for the Rockets .. and we've hardly lived up to them. But to say the season's over and we should just tank is being pessimistic. The Rockets, if they make the playoffs, will be in the 7-8th spot, but that's not saying we can't do well. We do have an incredibly tough schedule coming up (SA and Dallas have multiple games against us), but we've beaten both teams before, and we can do it again. BELIEVE. Here's hoping the Rockets get 8th, and Dallas grabs 1st. Revenge, anyone?

Marion will beat yao to the jump becvause of Marion's quickness

All I'm saying is that even if he were quick, Marion might outjump him, because Yao does not have a very big vertical jump, mostly as a result of his size.
