I call bs, they were trying, it showed when Kobe hit 4 3s in a row, but we were suppose to crumble and we didn't. If they didn't care Kobe wouldn't have been back in late. Jackson at least wanted a win.

Jackson may have have wanted to win, maybe Kobe too, but overall imo the Lakers really didn't care. They played with no urgency until late in the 4th Q after shit was picking up. Other than that they looked like they have the past 4 games...... uninterested.

Great fucking win! Without Camby and what, 7 points off our bench? Nice job Nate and the boys!

As much as I enjoyed the last couple games, I also got angry. I believe that if we still had Bayless and had acquired just one player with some beef on him, that we could realistically think about winning it all this year. I'm not sure if Rudy and Patty are really NBA players.

The Bayless trade went to get Wallace. Granted - we could, in theory have shipped our own pick - but the reality is that the Cats wanted NOH's pick - and we got Wallace for it, so...

Why would they want NO pick instead of ours when NO was several games ahead of us at the time? They might have figured that we would move up on them once we got Wallace but it's hard to believe that possibility would have held up the trade. We also could have thrown in a 2nd round pick.

I'm not really even blaming Cho; he was looking ahead a couple years and felt we needed to get Bayless out so somebody else might develop as our PGOTF, plus maybe Bayless needed to be traded a couple times before he could get his game more focused. And how could Cho know Aldridge would grow so quickly into a topnotch player. He was looking further ahead as most of us were also.

I'd still take Aaron Brooks. :)
