Jordan has a reputation of trashing Krause at every opportunity. I wouldn't put it past him to lie just to drag Jerry's name through the mud some more. Like I said, I haven't heard Phil say anything other than he wanted to retire.

Back to the game though, is Jamal Crawford becoming the real PG of the future in Chi-Town? Curry sent a message tonight, and I'm really proud of all of our young guys. Great job all around.

I think Crawford plays better with Jalen Rose. Hard to say if he's playing well because the presence of Jay Will is pushing him, or if he is ready to be the everyday starter. The Bulls have a lot of young talent, I'm very curious to see what their off-season is going to be like and who they will go after in the draft.

I think that is the key. Rose and Crawford feed off of each other very well. Crawford can distribute, but he doesn't dominate the ball like Jay. I think Krause also likes the fact that Jamal is 6'5" as he has that history of liking big PG's.

seems like after PJ and Jordan left the Bulls got blacklisted in the free-agent market the following year. the best they could come up with was overpaying for eddie robinson.

i have to think jordan holds resentment because he genuinely feels krause screwed the team. i respect jordan and i listen to him when he speaks. he usually keeps it real and i really doubt he was lying about krause forcing pj out. pj might not have ever bashed krause publicly because he is a class act and doing so would hurt any future coaching plans he might have had in mind. no other boss is going to want to hire someone after they talk bad about their previous boss.

Black-listed? Honestly, they were the #2 team for Tracy McGrady and a host of other players, who chose to go close to home or re-up with their current teams. I think it had little to do with reputation. Some people will say that, but I think it had more to do with the Bulls having an awful record. They needed a guy like McGrady to commit, and then they would have possibly been able to get another guy. No one had the guts to sign with the worst team in the league, but can you blame them?

The Bulls had the second highest amount of cap space at 18M, second only to the Magic. They had a chance at Duncan & T-Mac, but neither would commit. Also Shard Lewis & Tim Thomas were in their sights. They also drafted Elton Brand and Artest. I think the reputation had a lot to do with these guys not signing.

All of them chose to stay w/ their current teams and T-Mac wanted to be close to home.
