Re: NBA: CHICAGO (4-11) at CHARLOTTE (6-10)

I'm convinced a trade has to be made.

Hinrich and Thomas in a package for someone. Hinrich is toast as far as this team goes, and Thomas is going to be a bust, and we might as well trade him while he still has some value.

Maybe something with the struggling Bobcats?

    Bulls Receive:
    Emeka Okafor
    Walkter Hermann
    Adam Morrison
    Othello Harrington

    Bobcats Receive:
    Kirk Hinrich
    Tyrus Thomas
    Thabo Sefolosha

That group out there looked good tonight. Gordon has a quiet, but very good night. Duhon has to be our starting point guard from this point forward. The Hinrich experiment has to end.

Re: NBA: CHICAGO (4-11) at CHARLOTTE (6-10)

I'm starting to wonder if Hinrich isn't trying to get benched and seeing just how awful he can play before he doesn't get to start any more.

On the brighter side, this was slightly less awful than the Knicks game.

Duhon then made a layup 30 seconds later to give the Bulls atwo-point lead they would not relinquish. Duhon added seven inthe final period for Chicago, which shot 48 percent (33-of-69).

"It seems like we've been searching for combinations thisseason," Chicago coach Scott Skiles said. "Duhon was very goodagain and so was Nocioni and Joakim (Noah). All three of thoseguys really gave us a lift off the bench tonight."

Deng, who connected on 10-of-17 shots from the field, scored 12in the fourth and Nocioni did major board work, collecting sevenof his 11 rebounds in the period.

"Deng is tough," Bobcats coach Sam Vincent said. "Down thestretch he made big plays and that's what it's all about. Ibelieve our guys will get to that point."

Wallace scored 22 points and Raymond Felton had 17 and sixassists for Charlotte, which missed 14 of its last 19 shots.

"We're in a slump right now," Felton said. "There's no otherway to put it. We've just got to get out of it."

Jason Richardson also scored 17 points but was 0-of-4 from thefield in the fourth for the Bobcats.

Man, you've got a short memory. The Knicks win was way more awful than this. I think both teams were trying to lose in that game. In this game they just weren't really trying to win.

Knicks beat Bulls, snap eight-game skid

Despite 23 points and nine rebounds from Andres Nocioni, the Bulls couldn't prevent New York from ending its eight-game losing streak in an 85-78 loss at Madison Square Garden. Starting forward Luol Deng missed his third consecutive game with lower back pain for Chicago, which dropped its third straight and fell to 2-9.

Wait, didn't the Bulls lose that one?
