Shawn Marion and Steve Nash scored 25 of their team's 47first-quarter points to propel the Suns to a 127-111 rout of theKings on Wednesday night. The Suns, who swept the home-and-home series between the teamswith a 100-98 win over the Kings on Tuesday, left no doubt whothe better team was on this night. Marion, who finished with a season-high 25 points, scored 13 inthe opening period, while Nash, who posted 18 points and 15assists, had 12 and six as the Suns built a 47-38 lead. The charge continued into the second quarter as Grant Hill andBrian Skinner scored all the points during a 15-5 run thatincreased Phoenix's advantage to 62-43 at the 6:39 mark of thesecond period. The Kings battled back to within eight points with 1:31 left inthe half, but the Suns pushed the lead back out to 80-63 headinginto intermission. The lead grew to as many as 30 when Marion hit a pair of freethrows near the end of the third period.
