NCAAF: FLORIDA (4-2) at KENTUCKY (6-1)

After outlasting LSU, Kentucky hosts Florida

    No. 14 Florida (4-2) at No. 8 Kentucky (6-1) 3:30 pm EDT

LEXINGTON, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Kentucky coach Rich Brooks hardlygets to enjoy his biggest coaching victory.

Just seven days after knocking off No. 1 Louisiana State,Brooks' Wildcats have to host 14th-ranked Florida, the defendingnational champion, in another key Southeastern Conference clashon Saturday.

Last weekend, the Wildcats (6-1, 2-1 SEC East) rallied from a13-point deficit to beat LSU in triple overtime, 43-37.

Andre' Woodson overcame a pair of interceptions to throw for 250yards and three touchdowns for Kentucky, including a seven-yardpass to Steve Johnson to begin the third extra session.

The Wildcats then stuffed the Tigers on four straight rushingplays to end the wild contest.

Florida (4-2, 2-2 East), which sits fifth in the six-teamdivision, has not played since falling at LSU two weeks ago,28-24.

The Gators, who lost at home to Auburn the previous week on alast-second field goal, blew a 10-point fourth-quarter lead toLSU, giving up a go-ahead two-yard TD run to Jacob Hester with1:09 to play.

Fortunately for Florida, in addition to having an extra week'srest, it has had great success against Kentucky over the years, winning the last 20 meetings since a 10-3 loss here in 1986.
