<h3>West Virginia looks to keep running vs. Louisville</h3>

Louisville (5-4) at No. 6 West Virginia (7-1) 7:30 pm EST

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia (Ticker) -- Steve Slaton and Pat Whitewill be well-rested for West Virginia's game vs. Louisville.That does not bode well for the Cardinals.


Coming off a bye, Slaton, White and the sixth-rankedMountaineers host the Cardinals in Big East Conference action onThursday night.


West Virginia (7-1, 2-1 Big East) has not played sincethrottling Rutgers on the road on October 27, 31-3.

Slaton rushed for three touchdowns and White ran for 156 yardsand a score for the Mountaineers, who won the turnover battle,4-0, on a wet afternoon.


Louisville (5-4, 2-2) also has not played since October 27, whenit edged Pittsburgh, 24-17, to even its record in Big Eastaction.


Brock Bolen scored the go-ahead touchdown on a one-yard run with1:54 left, and the Cardinals recovered a fumble by Panthersrunning back LeSean McCoy at the Louisville 3 with 1:10 to go toseal the win.


Last year, Louisville posted a 44-34 home win en route towinning the Big East crown. In 2005, West Virginia outlastedLouisville in triple overtime, 46-44, behind a school-record sixTDs from Slaton.
