Loss, but Anderson played well on the offensive end. Sean Williams did a good job on defense. Lopez looks lost on pick and roll defense though. Iono wtf he was trying to do.

Ok from this game heres what i can say, Swat played good def. and showed some nice moves. Anderson shot the ball very well from 3, showed a nice post move, and can hit some floaters. Lopez looked lost on the high pick and roll def. However he can flat out score in the post and was hitting the mid ranged jumper. He was throwing in some fades in there as well and he has a nice baby hook. CDR didnt do too much, had a few turnovers but then again he didnt take many shots either.

All in all it was a very good showing from our bigs.

What percentage of floor time was Anderson spending guarding players on the perimeter and what percentage guarding the post? Which did he do better?

Yea, Lopez will struggle defensively, same as at Stanford. I think if Brook and Robin were combined into one player, he'd be the #1 pick in this draft....hands down.

I didn't really notice him much on the defensive end. Nothing spectacular, but nothing glaringly bad either. CDR could stand to improve defensively though and offensively too. I remember him hitting 1 good 3pter then rest of it was pretty unspectacular.

This was a hard game to evaluate.

The refs were all over this, I'm surprised Ryan Anderson got a flow going to score as much as he did. Brook Lopez dominated these guys offensively, once he got his move set in the post, they could not stop him.

HUH? It's obvious you're a Carroll hater....how does someone earn a lame ball by only playing 14 min? Looked like the coaches wanted to give some other guys a look today, that's all. The sad thing is Conroy played 8 more min. at the point and yet his stat line is almost the same except 4 more assists. Better yet, where is the lame ball for CDR? He played 20 min. more than Carroll and had the same points, same assists, one more rebound, and yet one more turn over? Not exactly efficient for the time he is seeing on the court.

And Anderson gets the game ball for chucking up 15 shots and hitting only 6? If Jaycee did that you would go on forever about how much of a ball hog he is. Game ball goes to Lopez...8-10 for 18 pts. and 7 rebounds....looked much better than yesterday.

Carroll went 1-6 in about 4 1/2 minutes, thats why it's a lame ball. While he did get a couple of assist he also made some bad passes and wasnt setting anybody else up. Look what happened, once the other gurads came in they started throwing it to the bigs on the block and played pick and roll with anderson. None of that happened with Carroll in. It's not hating, it's just watching the flow of the game.

Did you watch both games? Jaycee Carrol is not a pg, nor is he any good of a sg(cant defend). Unless he has Monte Ellis athletic ability, he wont sniff the regular roster. Watching him play is pretty depressing.

I have watched both games and again, I agree that Jaycee is not a PG. He never has been one....why is that so hard for people to understand on this board? He was most definitely one of the premiere SG's in the country however and is a flat out scorer. I agree that he would have a hard time defending most of the 2's in the league right now, but we also haven't seen him used as a 2 yet either. His game is spot up shooting, coming off screens, and shooting runners in the lane....none of which has been done or will be done so he is left to try and create those same opportunities himself. Yes, I too found it depressing to watch him lead the team in points, rebounds, and assists yesterday. [IMG] Today there wasn't much to watch as he was only out there for 14 min. I watched Carroll, along with every other guy we had get continually burned by Chalmers all game long.

First of all Carrol was in the starting line-up today & shooting a lot and not passing once again, but wasn't nearly as hot from the field as yesterday (1-6) in 5 minutes or so. That's why they took him out because he wasnt scoring nor passing the ball. And since he left the game our bigs started to play much better and we made a nice run. So i dont know what game you were watching (If you were watching?) today.
