The way the Nets have been drafting, I won't be surprised if its Joey Dorsey.

There have to be some moves still coming.
The question is which bigs will be on the move?

Bobby Simmons is our 3? No one to back him up? No one to back VC up? Marcus Williams backup PG?

    GREAT FREAKIN JOB</div>

I'm with you, i'm pissed off. I'm fine with Lopez, but we have 2 damn players at the 2 and 3 with AGER (who we don't even kno if he can be considered an option) as the backup. I don't care how good he shoots, when was the last time you saw an effective 6-10 player at the 3 spot. Can he play any De? idk, but i'm pretty damn sure he's not gonna be able to on the caliber of 3's in the NBA.

Anderson and Yi are forwards who swing between the 3 and the 4...they'll see most of there time at SF...Swift is an expiring contract. Sean and Boone play PF and Krstic and Lopez play Center.

it isn't exactly a terrible dilema.

as it stands now, I think, Yi, SWat and Anderson will log decent minutes at the 3.

We went out and got a speedy point guard who excels in the open court.

All we heard was how the nets wanted to get more athletic to surround Harris.

So we trade one of the best fast break lane fillers in RJ for a salary filler + a project...
Followed by drafting a center (admittedly, he was the BPA) who is slow and a defensive liability.
Then we go even further by drafting an offensive 4 who won't have the footspeed to play 3 or drive in the NBA.

I just don't follow the logic.

If they wanted to pick bigs, that's fine... but someone who can jump over 4 stacked quarters please.

If the Nets got Bayless they could have swung him to the Blazers and picked up some more assets and got a shooter + DEFENDER in Rush. Maybe they could have got the Blazers 27th pick and picked up Chalmers as well. They could have got Koufos or Anderson at 21 still. I don't think they got great value at 10.

Rockets took Batum who it was rumoured the Spurs were really interested in. Does that mean the Spurs trade their pick? Blazers going to buy it?

The Blazers could walk out of this draft with Bayless and CDR. Damn they're good.

Wow, straight up, this draft fuckin sucked for the Nets. Wow. Fuckin pathetic, really. Brook Lopez? Are you fuckin serious? And then another big man? What the fuck. I'm fed up with this bullshit.

If we pick up another big man in the 2nd round, I'm stepping down from mod.
