GRAND FORKS, NORTH DAKOTA (Ticker) -- Brian Rolston providedthe offense and goaltender Josh Harding had 25 saves as theMinnesota Wild posted a 2-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres in apreseason contest Monday night.

Rolston scored both goals for the Wild, who were outshot, 26-22,but still managed to pick up the victory.

Minnesota's leading scorer last season, Rolston netted thegame-winning tally just 3:14 into the third period to snap a 1-1tie. After Pierre-Marc Bouchard won a faceoff, Eric Belangerfed Rolston from the corner for the goal.

The 6-2, 210-pound right wing also scored on the power playearly in the second period to start the scoring.

But the game was saved by some stellar play by Harding, who madea nifty save on the breakaway by Michael Ryan with five minutesleft in the game and also stopped a rush of four shots by theSabres in the final minutes.

Phillip Gogulla scored his team's lone goal and Jocelyn Thibaulthad 20 saves for Buffalo, which converted just 1-of-6 onpower-play opportunities.
