We always let the most useless players get career highs against us, seriously? JJ Redick?

Redick is going to coast off this game for months, with an undeserved sense of self-satisfaction. Friggin' douche.

It's not just the rebounding. The Raps really suck at guarding the perimeter, honestly, how many threes did we give up today? at least 12 or 13

a lot of it is defensive strategy and the guys u have on the floor. for instance, the raps cut the lead to four and triano for some reason takes out his best perimeter defender in antoine wright and replaces him with the worst (caledron). and there is the absurd strategy of packing the paint and allowing the opposition to fire away.

i would love for reggie to come back but he's not going to help caledron defend; he's not going stop bosh from jacking up ill advised shots; he's not going to eliminate bargs defensive lapses and more importantly he's not going to help triano coach.

This "two PG's on at the same time" experiment is idiotic and I don't get why we haven't stopped it already. One of the best things about paying Turkoglu all that money is that he's a great playmaker who can handle the ball too. You don't need to sacrifice your perimeter defense to add more ballhandlers with him in the lineup.

There was no reason for Calderon to re-enter this game in the 4th quarter. We made a run with Jack playing tight D and our offensive players shooting the ball well. Jose comes in, lets his man fly by him on two consecutive plays and continues his shooting slump by bricking a crucial three. It single-handedly killed our momentum.

who thinks caledron should become a backup? jameer torched him tonight but if he was the backup he would be playing against jason williams and would probably have come out favourably in that matchup. ultimately the question is- can caledron guard starting pg's in this league?

I have no problems with Bosh, to be honest. Until Bargnani and Hedo start playing complete games, he's the only player on this team who creates his own offense.

It's weird how Bargnani's entire game is completely dictated by how he's feeling offensively. When he misses a couple shots, he stops looking for his own offense, and the rest of his game regresses terribly. He ignores his rebounding assignments and plays with little intensity on defense. Once his shot starts falling though (i.e: from the middle of today's 3rd quarter onwards), he begins to vary his offensive game, he actually plays to his defensive potential, and he takes the load off of Bosh's shoulders. The Raptors can't afford to struggle for entire halfs waiting for Bargnani to get in the groove though. We need him to play complete games like the one in Cleveland or this team will struggle a lot.

well ive been dogging the two point guard thing since preseason. of course dumars and isiah thomas did it well but they were hall of fame caliber guards while both caledron and jack might not even start on most teams in the league. and in recent memory- bibby and bobby jackson did it but bibby was the best shooter in the league at that time and bobby was arguably the best defensive guard in the league at that point. plus, both caledron and jack dont play off the ball well

Yup. The whole point of having a defensive specialist is so that you can insert him when every possession is crucial. That's two games in a row when Antoine Wright has sat on the bench at the most important defensive possessions. I think Triano has to go back to the '06-'07 approach and ride the hot hand at the end of the game.

im listening the fan 590 post game show and callers are finally coming to the realization that i had 2 years ago about caledron's inability to guard. i actually think caledron might be worse than steve nash because nash doesnt get beat off the dribble at the regularity that caledron does.
