im convinced more today than ever that we cant have both caledron and bargnani together on the same team. i honestly prefer caledron to leave because the pg position is the most important spot in the modern nba with all the quick guards who look to constantly attack. bargnani might have his lapses but he does something incredibly well and thats score and i honestly believe he can be a better rebounder

Nash can also off-set his mark's 20 points by scoring 25 himself. Calderon's never had that kind of offensive ability.

I think we've seen several times how Bargnani can work on this team. He's a good man defender, an explosive scorer, and his defensive rebounding can be improved. It's a matter of him showing it consistently. I wonder if he's got the kind of personality that can achieve that kind of consistency, though.

Jose is another case entirely. I don't think he can overcome how bad his D is. I hope he can, but I'm slowly starting to agree with you deception. Triano's got a deep bench, and he needs to make Jose earn his minutes now. Play Jack for extended periods of time if necessary.

I don't mind starting Jose or having Jose on the team, but the Raps gotta go back to the TJ/Jose system where the PG that's playing better at the end of games stays in. Also Antoine Wright needs to be in at the end of games to close them out, he's the team's best perimeter defender. Like today, the raps should of had Wright on Jameer Nelson and stick whichever PG was in on Redick.

exactly. nash possess offensive greatness while caledron at best is above average offensively. its no coincidence that caledron's best moments as a rap came as a backup to ford.

join the movement to insert jarret jack as the starter. and to those that say its only been 3 games- well its actually been a year and half because he started after ford got hurt and he started again last year.

I think its more important that Triano distribute their minutes more equally (according to merit). I have more of a problem with who's playing down the stretch, than with who's starting games off.

there was absolutely no justification for wright to be taken out of the game. as for jose not starting- its designed to protect him from jameer nelson, louis williams, devin harris and the other ultra quick guards in the east who would devour him. as aforementioned, if he was the backup today he would have got the majority of his minutes against jason williams and thats a good matchup. btw, im not suggesting that jack is a better player than jameer nelson, however, he would have slowed him down and broke some of his rhythm. once jameer got rollin on caledron, it was game over because he believed he couldnt be stopped and thats a dangerous feeling for the opposition to guard against.

man this caledron thing is really pissing me off, imagine how jack and wright are feeling right now- knowing that their minutes are being squandered on an inferior player. this kind of crap threatens the chemistry of a team

I concur with you guys. A shame that the backcourt is this messed up, but I do like how your Big Three has been progressing together.

In the home opener, they had a tribute, and it showed Carter clips in between. However it garnered some booing lol.

I just looked at the boxscores and Redick had more boards than Bargnani, thats hella weak.

He'll box out his man, but he won't box out an area which is idiotic when you consider how often players jump in for a rebound. He's also got a ridiculously slow reaction time.
