    Pacers beat the Mavs in DAL without Hibbert. Don't take this lightly. I want a convincing win from start to finish-- if we get up on them early, they don't have the firepower to make a comeback.

    The starters will be fine, it's the bench that needs to score 30pts..been awhile since they did that. As I said, Kaman has to bring it on offense after a couple of subpar shooting games.

    Well, we only score 104 at home, and if we can hold Indy to 85 or so, there's no way we go over 194.

    ...on the other hand, they score way more in losses (102.3) than they do in wins (87.3)...

    ...on he other hand, we let teams play like they're going to win, then beat them anyway...

    One thing that is sad/interesting about sitting up here on the Isle of Misfit Press is the 200 level press row is directly behind MGB's old seats.

    Since I'm not allowed in the press room before games I'll go down to the loading dock for a player car picture and then to the court for some warmup pics and a chat with Rice. When I went to the loading dock tonight chit was buzzing! Doors locked, gates closed, personnel on HIGH alert. Turns out there is a Ferguson protest going on and security is afraid they're going to storm the game. They're up on the Rose Quarter Plaza and rumor has it that they're planning on shutting down the Broadway bridge.

    The Moda is only about a 1/4 of the way full so I'm not sure if the protesters are making it harder to get here.
