He takes homerism to a whole new level. I swear, ever time I hear him say "(insert opposing player's name) just got away with a walk!" I feel like punching whatever's next to me. He does this about 2 times every game and you'd never hear him say the same thing about one of the Raps.... It also annoys me when he'd go on one of his rants on how an opposing team is playing like crap during a certain point in the game. Yes, we get the point already, they're struggling..... much like how the Raps struggle for huge stretches also. One time that got pretty annoying was when we were facing the Lakers and they brought out their second unit which was a pretty crappy group on paper, and Chuck went on to bash that group saying how they look like an expansion team and stuff like that. Anyways, he went on and on about how pathetic looking that unit was and next thing you know, they go on a 10-0 run (which mark the turning point of the game in which the Raps couldn't recover from)....... I can appreciate Chuck's enthusiasm and love for the team, but c'mon, the guy needs to take it easy on his homerism....
i think it's more of being passionate rather than homerism. he is bias at times, and i can see that,but it's from a raptors point of view and he IS getting paid by the raptors, so he shouldnt be talking bad about them should he?
