The Rockets offense isn't fluid. A lot of 1-on-1 with the Big Three, but it's stagnating because they can't get the ball into Yao. The team really needs a penetrating guard and better shooting on the floor. Tracy is a step slow, and Rafer can't create well off the dribble. A Brooks substitution might be a good idea just about now.

Why is Yao jumping to block a Dampier shot in the lane? Stupid foul.

Rafer Alston had Brent Barry wide open in the corner at the end of the period, and he went with that stupid f*cking tear-drop.

I think the Rockets might have an advantage with their subs, so hopefully they regain a lead to start the fourth. After 3, they're down by one.

I like this lineup -- Brooks, Barry, Artest, Chuck, Yao. Nice mixture of offense and defense. Rockets with a lead.

I love this team!!!! Rockets on a 13-1 run!

Yao, Ron, and Brooks are playing large right now.

Come on Rockets, don't blow it. Mavs score 4 in a row, and are now at the line.

Man, with the way Brooks is lookin....looks like it REALLY is curtains for Steve.

Great game for Yao and Ron 30 and 29 a piece. T-Mac seems to be taking the role of facilitator in the mold of Pippen in this game...

    I love

-how we limit McGrady's scoring and minutes and we are still doing really good if not better without McGrady
-Aaron Brooks seems much more confident in his shot. He's so damn explosive! He knocked a cold blooded 3 with a second left on the shot clock and then with less than a minute made a clean layup
-RON ARTEST! Made the needed shots at end of the game!
-how Artest tried to stop the fight, yet he got called for a TECHNICAL?!? WTF?

What a great game for the Rockets. Huge improvement over Game 1. Most important, they were able to take over in the 4th without relying on T-Mac carrying the team. That rarely happened in the past.

Sounds like it was a great game! Just following it by box score on Yahoo got me excited. I'll definitely download this tomorrow when R2K over at CF releases it.

Artest is exactly what this team needed. Someone to take the scoring load off TMac, play defense and lead by example. Too many times in the past have we relied on TMac to bail us out when Yao was ineffective.

In the thread for the last game, I said that the Rockets offense is going well if their AST/FGM ratio is around 60%. This game, it was 60.5%. There you go!

Great game. Artest and Brooks took over down the stretch. Yao with a very good game as well. I'd like to see the big three playing cohesively though.

One thing..Yao played 40 minutes. Whatever happened to limiting his time?
