Pizza ordered, game streaming from ESPN3.com (we don't have cable), family present... okay. I think we're good to go.

It's going to be a ticky tack game then.

If this is the way they're gonna call the game, then we're fucked.

So can we finally put away the myth that playoff basketball is tougher and the refs let more go? It's complete bullshit and totally untrue.

I can already tell how this series is going to go.

But the Mavs were the underdogs! Or so they told me.

:check: Though I'm ok with us being angry and aggressive. Better than laid-back and down by 20

LMA is doing great defense, but Dirk is the king of hitting ridiculously hard shots.

I'm also ok with Dirk taking one-legged fallaways. He'll get his share, but I love that LMA's making him go away from his drive-your-shoulder-in-to-get-space jumper

What's funny, and what I envisioned, is that Rice just talked about the UCLA high post play. I envisioned it with with LMA at the high post, though, and Oden in the low post. How much has LMA changed his game? WOW

I love seeing LaMonster. This is the man I"ve been screaming for for 3 years. Whether LMA, or Nate, or whoever else got him into the paint and dropping hooks, half-hooks, and dunks...mucho props.

Single coverage (especially with Dirk) on LA is not gonna stop him. Easy pickins.

Dirk already getting chippy with LMA. Wait until Nate rotates Batum and Wallace on him from time to time.

BTW, is there anyone that's going to benefit from the longer timeouts and no back-to-backs than 40-45mpg LMA?

Or, he was a project, as he was advertised when drafted, and he is now near a completed project. I never understood those of you who spent years bitching about him. Sometimes, it takes a post player longer to develop. I like that LMA started outside, and worked inside. Many post players never are able to stretch the defense, because they never develop an outside game. LMA gets alley-oops because teams have to respect the pick and pop, or the 15' wing jumper.

When the hell did Jason Kidd become Steve Nash?
