It's a good thing when we got up in the first that Nate benched LMA, and the momentum has been gone ever since! We need to rest him for game 2.

Good thing they end games at halftime.

I can live with this--to have a 15 point quarter and be down only ten is fantastic.

Gerald has to get it started. I'd be okay with feeding him the ball on a few straight possessions and letting him go one-on-one until he finds a rhythm. Having him with his head on straight for the other games is worth more than a few missed attempts now.

Yes, Nate's great playoff coaching should pay off in the 2nd half.

If I have to watch one more game with this 3rd string broadcast team I will go fucking crazy. Seriously of all the plays in the first half they comment on the last two Dallas possesions to complain Dirk was fouled? Unbelievable.

Well, if we're basing this on past histories, the Mavs choking against Golden State and San Antonio bodes wll for Portland.

The Blazers will be stuck in mediocrity as long as Nate is the coach. Guy gets out coached every playoff series. Had one fluke year in seattle when they could not miss long jumpers. I hope LMA gets hot again so we can bench him. He needs to rest for game 2

The refs called some ticky tack shit earlier, which were not fouls, and now everyone expects them to be called. The last two plays were good, no calls.

Brandon Roy is way too passive. If he's just going to pass the ball every time he gets it, theres no point in putting him out there.

    Nate Freakin McMillan!

THIS is exactly why I was depressed when his contract extension was announced. He implements the most restrictive set of systems that literally choke the creativity out of the players, and make them play scared of making a mistake.

Their is no fluidity or adaptability in the 'Sarges' systems.
Basketball is as much about rhythm & confidence as it is about X & O's.
    Nate destroys the former.

And as for his 'renown' defensive coaching. . . LOL!!

I have a thought. Perhaps we could wait until after halftime (you know, when you can make some adjustments) to forfeit the game due to poor coaching and Gerald Wallace continuing his "streak" of 0% shooting in playoff quarters. Anyone with me?

if they call these no-fouls both ways, I like our chances. LMA's strong enough to take it, I'm not sure dirk is
