Now I can't be accused of bringing this up!

I'm going to put the jinx on my Miller opinion, and say again that Miller will never win a first round series.

Matthews played like shit, and has played like shit for two games. He had 8 points in about 1 minute of the first half. Other than that, he was a non-factor. He is underperforming statistically, and isn't passing the ball, closing out on shooters, or rebounding. That is a fact.

That said, I hope he goes off for 30 points on Thursday. He is a wildly inconsistent 2nd/3rd scorer, and he's due for some good games.

 

I noticed this too. Rudy and Roy are getting a lot of blame, and rightfully so, but Matthews has been bad as well. Matthews hasn't figured out that every time he bodies up Dirk, they're going to call a foul. And he didn't do any better on Kidd than Miller did.

 

Oh, OK. You've moved from not understanding what a "strawman" is to now accusing me of not being a Blazer fan. Cute. Need a hug?

 

So, Uncle Ty, a cynical poster may wonder why you've been on a posting spree during and after these losses.

That Blazers team had Zach Randolph. The best the Blazers have done in the playoffs in the last 10 years was with ZBo leading us in scoring and rebounding (Games 4-7, 2003). Why did we trade him?

Does it matter? It both scenarios, we lose.
