I am watching the raps play D and I am just wondering, do we help more than other teams? It seems like on every defensive sequence our guys get burned, someone helps and then we get burned by a kickout 3. Does this happen alot or are we just terrible?
Well it starts with the first perimeter defender, IMO. If Calderon, Parker, and Bargnani/Moon are getting beat by opposing guards, we're forced to double and leave shooters open. There are certainly instances where I think we should lay off the doubling (its one of the reasons I'd get annoyed with Smitch), but a lot of the time we're forced to do it.
Growing up going to Knicks/Nets games, I've got to say that Utah's home demographic is extremely...bagged milk.
Three questions: 1) Does Joey Graham usually play this well? 2) Is he just being showcased? 3) Is there going to be a huge demand from the fanbase to have him start now?
1) No. This just started like 2 weeks ago. 2) We've been showcasing him for a couple seasons now. This is the first time he's shown anything. 3) I don't know about starting. People got pissed off at Smitch for playing favourites and keep Jamario above Joey on the depth chart. He deserves more minutes and I think Triano will be giving them to him.
Seriously? I think youre just being sarcastic.....but I agree. haha no but I think we'll probably win 1 of the next two.
