I just lost some respect for Mike Riley. The Sac State thing was bad enough, but playing him in a game OS had no chance of winning? Bad decision by Riely.

If you lost respect for Riley, I can't imagine what you think of Kelly now that he's re-instated Alonso.

No kidding! Can you believe that jerk Chip. Alonso only served a 14 game suspension. Can't believe he made Kiko attend counseling, stop drinking and keep his grades up.

Also can't believe Chip kicked his Heisman hopeful, offensive leader, QB of Pac10 Champ team, off the team for violating local and team laws.

    What a chump...that Chip. What a pushover...wish he'd make a stand once in a while.

Alonso missed 14 games. Masaniani still has pieces of his girlfriend's scalp in his fingernails.

You're a joke. So is Aw Schucks Golly Gee Riley Well Ya See, who is fighting to keep his job with convicted domestic violence offenders starting for him without even a single game suspension.

Well no, he kicked him off for lying to him, let's be honest here.

True Seb...it was a combination of overall behavior, including lying, but for the record -- lying is specifically mentioned in the ethical section of team agreement/Code of Conduct (re: team laws). I was being honest.

You're clueless. Alonso missed 14 games because he blew his knee out. Do you honestly think he would have been out the entire year if healthy? If so, I have a nice bridge I'd like to see you!

It was an indefinite suspension. It's not like the suspension was lifted, he played in a game, got hurt, and was put back on suspension. The suspension was never lifted nor were the parameters set on Alonso for grades, participation and counseling.

I'm not sure either of us know with 100% certainty. But, what I do know is that Chip is no stranger to long suspensions and kicking student/athletes off the team entirely - even key players. I can't recall a single instance where he said he was playing a player out of necessity, despite a suspension.
