So let see how the AMD run goes?

Glad i got out of AMC when i did it's run is done. You can play the market but in the end the stock still needs to have value. AMC never held the value of it's price.

I really dont think anyone here thinks AMC is a solid investment choice. Its good times and fast money, until it isnt. There is always a fine line between investing and gambling, both are ok as long as you are honest with yourself on which activity you are participating in.

    I got in on F at $6.14
Very happy with Ford and the way they are growing right now. I'm sticking with it.

That is exactly my point. It's just not for me. I had it before the run and got lucky.
I bought into those kinds of stocks when the pandemic hit and they all were down. I also got into the Airlines. United. Delta, Alaska Southwest all did really well and have all pretty much doubled or in some cases tripled.
Zoom was a great pickup as well.

Got to admit i took my lumps on Coinbase. That was a very bad decision. Totally thought that would take off.

Nice moves. Hype is a part of stocks. I allocate up to 10% on hype stocks if I feel I can get in early enough. I caught Tesla at $200 (presplit adjusted), NIO at
$3ish and AMC at $3.50. I ate it on coinbase also though, in at $320 but I wasnt sure so I kept it very light, time fixes most bad decision though as long as its not a garbage company. I focused most of my early post pandemic buying on consumer staples like costco and walmart, which did great but not Tesla great (still kicking myself for not going with my first instinct to buy Tesla)

What are your thoughts on F? I think its a hot buy under $20.

Max $30. I'm selling at $25. Unless they come out with an even better EV. They might jump the whole market?

My biggest problem with AMC is more about the market for "In Theater" experience. I feel it's going to continue to fall off as a form of entertainment. Even after pandemic. I know i have not been to a movie theater for years. I watched around town as Theaters "Moyer for example" shuttered doors and all of them have moved to Malls which are also shuttering doors because nobody wants to go to malls anymore. Of course now what they want to do is continue to move online which is totally saturated at this point but it's the only way to go.
This might be a "Brilliant" move but it's still rather short term.

Like all things in investments- I certainly could be wrong but AMC has $5.4 billion in long-term debt and owes $4.9 billion per year in theater rent. Even in its heyday, the company operated at razor-thin margins. Now its balance sheet looks even worse as liabilities outpace its assets by over $2 billion. For these reasons, it's probably a good time to take profits on the stock

None of this has anything to do with the reason people are buying AMC.

But it has everything to do with why I sold it and am now moving on. I did well and now I'm out. That's all i'm saying.
Next one for me i hope does as well.

I'm small time Hoops. $1000 to $10,000 on any given stock is all i could ever muster. This is my retirement i'm dealing with so i don't take big risks.

The homeless refill those empty water bottles with tap water. Not a good service.
