Probably because most of us know he can play better. When your strong suit is 3pt shooting and your hitting all backboard, or nothing at all.........your gonna get some shit. He needs to pull himself together. Playing better defense tonight was a start.

I suspect that 2 factors are involved.

First, early in the season, you had a vocal minority who were still proclaiming that Webster was a budding star and Batum was not that good.

Second, Webster has shown us all just enough flashes to make it look like he *could* be a productive NBA player....which makes his poor play all the more frustrating. It is hard to dislike a guy who just doesn't have enough talent/skill to be an NBA player. It is easy to get frustrated with a guy who looks like he could contribute, and just doesn't. :dunno:

Let's just hope he re-signs this summer.

If Camby doesn't resign I will cry. I love Pryzbilla and all that he brought to us, but when he tore his patella again, I think you have to move on.

That begs the question: Thabo or Batum? Who's the better defender?

A winning road record for the first time in years. The mark of a good team. 14-5 since the all-star break. Way to go, Blazers.

All I know is that at this point I'd take Batum over Thabo every single day of the week. I loved Wheels' story during pregame about the Thunder staffer who praised Nic's recent play, saying that "with practice, Batum could turn into a Sefolosha".
