I just want to give thanks that our Brass doesn't think like you. How are the Lakers doing with two HOF players on their team?

 

I would offer Gasol the MLE next summer, but there is virtually no way of trading for him. His contract is so huge, we would have to include Batum just to make it work.

What about with Houston? Dunno if D12 and Gasol would work well or if the lakers would trade him there...but they need to get rid of Asik and Lin. Lin would be popular in LA due to the huge Chinese/taiwanese population.

 

Nash will be collecting checks for a while, but he's basically done.

 

That's what I was thinking. That's why I wondered how much y'all think he'll command this summer. The Blazers are definitely a team where he could go ring shopping by "bringing his talents" to the Rose Quarter. LOL

He's going to want to start though. I think we've got a better shot of trying to convince someone like Hawes to take the MLE and come off our bench.

 

I'd want Hawes without a doubt. He's much better for this team's 2nd unit.

I think the Lakers will make a play for Asik and send Gasol to Houston. I don't want Gasol in Portland and he gets a huge salary as well. Pau is not LaMarcus by any stretch.
