Okay, how about this revision: Dallas Gets: Jason Kidd Malik Allen Memphis Gets: Trenton Hassell Eddie Jones Dallas 2010 or 2008 1st round pick New Jersey Gets: Devin Harris Jerry Stackhouse Mike Miller Cash Dallas 2010 or 2008 1st round pick Gentlemen's agreement that Dallas will offer MLE to Stackhouse to cover the majority of the buyout. I don't think Eddie Jones makes enough money to make it work. Plus, Eddie Jones is much better than George and gives them a very good shooter off the bench with playoff experience. As for waiving him, what good is that going to do? If you waive him, you can't trade him. It'd make no sense to simply remove someone from your roster just because he's invoking a clause that he's got. Plus, the deal could still work, and if you waive him, you have to replace him in the deal.
