Politics George F. Will: Trump is no longer the worst person in government

Actually, I thought it was nice to see George Will get it right for a change. I didn’t realize he had the ability be objective. Good to see that people can grow over time. And I find it interesting how some folks seem intimidated by proper use of the English language. I guess we’ve gotten too used to words like “bigly” and “yuge” of late to appreciate actual literacy. Will’s opinion was spot on and the words he used were entirely appropriate in describing his concerns (along with the concerns of a large segment of American society). I appreciate that some level of intelligence continues to reside in D.C., even if it belongs to a member of the conservative media.

 

This is all you need to read:
"Trump is what he is, a floundering, inarticulate jumble of gnawing insecurities and not-at-all compensating vanities, which is pathetic. Pence is what he has chosen to be, which is horrifying."

 

I have no quibble with his take, just his self-aggrandizing writing style.

 

That’s just stereotypical George Will. He never uses a 10 cent word when a 5 dollar word is available. I suspect he believes they add more weight to his opinions.....

 

I always thought he was very intelligent. Recently I've come to suspect he is senile.
