This Gerald Green, playing for the playoffs bound Suns? Suns reserves Isaiah Thomas and Gerald Green form NBA's top scoring bench duo
What if I told you you could trade Will Barton for Gerald Green, win the championship, and sign Lebron James in the offseason.
I think the team needs to make a move. But I've been saying this for a couple years that the starters need help. Neil and Paul feel otherwise.
Really you offer a protected first to the Suns and Greene is on our doorstep tomorrow. The question then becomes does Olshey have enough faith in this team to make that kind of deal and gamble with an asset like that for a shot this year. Personally I don't think he has faith in the team to make a big move.
Hey cmeese! I don't think of Green as a big move personally and I think we're weathering the injury bug ok. When Rolo and Joel come back, this team will get back on track and it was worth a few losses to see Leonard emerge as an NBA player. I think Olshey wants to keep the pick for the offseason more than he wants to risk it for a bench player. After the injury bug hit, the Blazers scrambled to find a rotation that kept us in games and they actually have kept the team close against good competition. I'm not worried about the schedule leading up to the allstar break. It's been bench development time. You should post once in a blue moon after a win streak....why wait until a losing streak to chime in? Lamarcus is beasting and that deserves some attention.
It's too bad he didn't have faith in the team to make that move for Conley, either, huh? I can speak for Olshey, too! This is fun!
Really so when was the last time he made a big move? Kaman nope, Blake nope, his last big move was Rolo and that was only possible cause the Pelicans were giving him away to open cap space for Evans. He has been standing pat for this summer so we can just pay our current team more money and still be a couple pieces short.
LA has been great lately no arguing that but this team is built on the backs of Dame and the triple. When those stop falling we have a hard time winning. I think the bench needs time but I still see them a piece or two short.
you said "he doesnt have faith in the team to make a big move". Wouldnt not making a move imply he DOES have faith in the team? Hence the nonsensical. and gerald greene (sic) is a big move? wtf man
Lets see he is a double digit scorer, with a legit 3 point shot and is solid defender off the bench who just so happens to play a position we have virtually no depth. So yes considering how big an upgrade he would provide to the bench especially when coupled with the returns of Rolo and Freeland I would call him a big move.
You all only question the premise that Green is a big move? I much more strongly question the notion that Green could be had for our first-round pick.
Fair enough...I don't know much about him but he doesn't really get much press from my cheap seats. I too don't think a guy that you say has that kind of numbers could be had for a draft pick and then there's the bigger question...why would the Suns do this?
