If Okafor isn't a PF then why has the Charlotte office been wanting to get a legit big to play Center so they can move Okafor to PF? And I still don't see how Diaw can't play SF...he did a good job playing all three frontcourt positions while in Pheonix...but I can't say I don't agree with everything you said....I'm not to completly dismiss your agrument without rational thought to it. I will say I was off on Nazr...there more likely to give Howard more minutes at this point than him...I just forgot they picked him up. But I do still think a trade could work in thier favor with Minny....they can package someone like Felton and Collins exp. contract for Kaman, after that deal...now that would be nice
They have been saying that? Sorry. I guess I missed it. I watch pretty much every Bobcats broadcast and I can't remember the Charlotte crew ever talking about it. Doesn't mean that I haven't missed the frontoffice quotes, of course. Have you seen Diaw this year? He's a big dude. Much bigger. And not taller nor more muscular. He's heavier and he's slower. He'd get toasted defensively if he had to match up with starting swingmen, IMO. Maybe MN can make a better offer than Outlaw and Frye. I don't really see it, but maybe. Ed O.
looks like we'll just agree to disagree on some points...but I really enjoy our debates though. I look forward to many, many more
Oh I did post another Minnesota trade proposal on the Bobcats Forum under "...interested in Brad Miller?" see if that one looks any better....
I don't mean to single out MARIS61 here, but I've never understood the point of taking the time to post an opinion without any explanation. It happens all the time and makes for poor discussion. What if all our threads just stated opinions without explanations? Every thread would essentially be a poll. Yuck.
Sorry, I forgot the Lakers have the market cornered on giving up a collection of shitty players for a good one.
Classic. I did have a pretty good laugh when he called me a "daft cunt" <---------- apparently he's seen "my" movie
Funny, I think you are dead wrong. Memphis found out within days of the trade they could have done better.
You're right. As posted above about Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-heisleygasol060308&prov=yhoo&type=lgns
I don't think the Chicago offer was better. I'd rather have Marc Gasol than any of the players rumoured in the Chicago deal. The Chicago deal was a bunch of their crap. If Chicago offered the same players for Outlaw, I'd bet it would not be well-received by fans on this board, and Pau Gasol is significantly better than Outlaw. The only reason people are up in arms about this deal is because they hate LA and hate to see them get better. Had Chicago gotten better for an equal (or worse) deal, no one would have cared.
^ yup...put in the financial situation around those Bulls players and it makes more sense why they wouldnt want that
