I was a coffee snob for years. I made my own espresso, had a drip machine, I finally settled on the french press for a decade because it could sit next to me at my desk. After years of wrinkling my nose at my Euro wife's Nescafe, I finally had to admit it was pretty fucking easy and actually pretty decent tasting. And not nearly as much caffeine, so not nearly as addictive. Now I drink two big mugs of this a day: And maybe two more mugs of this, depending on my mood: I keep the french press and the good coffee around for guests, but I'm never really tempted by it. If you find yourself on the two-double-mocha-a-day habit like I once had, with fucking vicious coffee headaches if you dare to skip a day, go the instant coffee route.
