<div class="quote_poster">Quoting I-Miss-MJ:</div><div class="quote_post">the $90 doens't worry me. The way the game was ref'ed does. How does NBA let that happen?</div> I think the referees did a good job. The time out situation was a bad one, but one that was caused by Avery Johnson?s inexperience as a head coach, and him not bringing over Josh Howard to tell him exactly what he wanted. The foul on Wade was not a phantom call he actually got fouled twice once on his arm by Harris, and back by Dirk. The pictures proof it. At the end of the day the Heat where the ones making the shots, and beating the Mavs not the referees.
The foul at the end of game 6 was messed up though. They called a foul on Dirk when Wade CLEARLY used his arm to push off Dirk or it should have been a no call because Dirk did not touch Wade. 26 secs left, clock winding down, hmm... the Mavs should have won that game, but that Wade... Sorry about your 90 bucks, but I miss MJ 2, although you could start following the Bobcats closely now that he's there...

Everyone on the site complaining about that call I got it confused. Are you talking about the one where Dirk bumped Wade when Wade was trying to drive, and they called a foul?
The crew with Anthony, Legler, and Pip, said that Wade pushed of Harris/Terry? Don't remember.. But even without that, I think it should have been a bigger foul that effected his shot by a lot to be called with the game winding down... but, the Mavs pretty much lost that game by themselves.
Speaking of Game 5, it was a back court violation...if you look closely. Tough call to make, it was close. However, every time Wade had the ball you couldn't even sneeze in his direction without it being a foul. And anytime ONE player has more Free Throws then the entire opposition, you know something is wrong.
i'm happy the heat won i think they deserved it and no it wasnt backcourt, the were was an article which picks out a rule out of the rule book something along the lines of he didnt have position yet and u can go back court or soemthin, cant remember
didnt have position? whats that mean. As far as I know his foot was in the front court when he held the ball then went to the back court.
What play are you guys talking about? I didn't watch much of game 5 or the game you guys are talking about.

That is why it is not a backcourt violation. At least that is now 76ers general manager Billy King explained it on daily news live. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Everyone except the Heat are getting their credit it seems, the refs, the Bulls.</div> This thread was started a long time ago...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Best Kept Secret:</div><div class="quote_post">My fault miss read it. Everyone on the site complaining about that call I got it confused. Are you talking about the one where Dirk bumped Wade when Wade was trying to drive, and they called a foul?</div> It's okay, it's sometimes hard with so many posts to keep track. I know game 5 game Wade did get hacked, but in Game 6 Wade wasn't really driving, he was outside the 3pt line with like nowhere to go even the announcers were a bit surprised they called it bad luck; it was the one with 26 secs left. Steve Kerr's article mentioned it and called it the Call of the Day: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> CALL OF THE GAME Mavericks fans will talk about this one for a long time. With Dallas trailing by one point and 26 seconds to go, Wade dribbled around a screen and clearly threw his arm out into Nowitzki's chest. Nowitzki was called for the foul, however, sending Wade to the line where he made both free throws. Had the call gone the other way, we could be talking about a Game 7. Instead, the Heat hung on for the win ? and the championship. </div> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=sk-c...=yhoo&type=lgns I honestly have no clue how to cite or set up quotes for an article, did the best I can...okay so yeah and we know Kerr can't miss a 3, doesn't miss a call either...wooHOo SteVie Kerr... BUT sometimes of course refs just miss calls...bad luck for mavs...a game 7 woulda been sweet...
