Not over those other guys, at least. I'd give it to Lebron, Paul tho. Kobe deserves it tho. Getting Gasol might hurt him a bit. People may look at the record, and think, "well, it's easy to get there when you have a premier big like Gasol as your teammate". That's also the reason I believe KG doesn't deserve it. And partly a reason why I think Paul probably won't get it, and the reason why I think Lebron has the best chance, at this point.

Don't underestimate how much Writers are obsessed with Wins, that's how they've chosen the last 3 MVPs in particular. Recently they've also had a PG fetish too.

That shit would not translate to 50 wins in the West if he had to play most of his games here.</div> I think you need to win 60+ out East to win the MVP. How can 50 qualify you for an MVP in a piss poor conference, I don't get it. If the Lakers were in the East, they'd win 60+ I'd think. The East is beyond putrid. When only 5 teams are above .500, you know it's a bad conference, and that alone should disqualify you from MVP balloting.

If that's the case, Nash shouldn't have won it either time because of the mass amount of talent he's got, and Dirk shouldn't have won it last year. The fact of the matter is that Kobe is the MVP. I don't think there should even be questioning about it. He's been sensational all freaking season and if the Lakers manage 60 wins and the top seed, you have to give it to him.
