The majority of the board will agree 100% that you are the dumbest bastard on the planet on MDZ. Most people don't even read your crap about MDZ. Your last couple posts were the first two MDZ posts you made in a month that I read. You aren't any smarter.

As well as 5 free agent dmen at the end of this year, next year is the last year of Staal's contract so the Rangers are not that deep. I like Girardi but think another team will throw unmatchable dollars at him. I liked what I saw of Allen and think McIlrath should be up here already splitting time with Stralberg to give him a taste of the NHL. The other plus never mentioned with MDZ is he can handle playing here in NYC despite some negative stretches, he has thick skin. If MDZ were wearing any other team's jersey many of the trade MDZ talkers would be screaming for him because he's only 23 and has offensive skills most other dmen will never develop. Hope Glen has the sense to keep him.

And that is where we disagree panzer, which is all good. I rather give someone else the money than re-sign MDZ for 3 years at 3 or 4 per year. That is a big reason why I would deal him for a proven scorer now. We can choose who to re-sign, and MDZ would not be on the top of my list.

Fleischmann would be a great pickup for the next few years, he's a smart player with good offense who could solidify the middle lines. I'm not sure if FLA is willing to trade him as of now.

Florida will basically trade every vet on the team. They suck beyond belief.
