There is no doubt he has the physical tools to be top tier at the 5, no doubt. It will depend on the intangibles like mental, heart, coaching, etc. It won't be easy.
Many people have said that Ayton doesn't have "it." But he does have a lot of tools and he's shown he can play at a very high level. I'm hoping a constant supportive environment, respect shown by his teammates and coach, and more conducive style of basketball can keep him playing with energy whether he's internally motivated or not.
