I'm just glad that I don't have to hear from all the Lakers fans at work on how the Warriors haven't one a game.

Why did Foyle not play last night? Is he injured?

He's not injured, from what I hear, he's just been demoted because he's been playing poorly, so that's why Robinson got the start in his place. Pretty sad to have a guy paid so much to sit on the bench. His main thing is defense, and from what I had seen so far, he hadn't been contributing much even on D.

What a stupid signing. I like the guy, but this just points to home on how Mullin should have never felt obliged to sign him when Dampier wouldn't take the extension we offered. The contract seems definitely bad now that he's not even playing. It told you he is not a Monty style of center. He's too raw. If he had stuck to refining his game rather than political activism and stuff he'd still have his starting job.

Okay rant aside, he's probably still injured and they just decided to give him more rest. Who knows for sure.

I do remember reading somewhere that his hamstring is still bothering him and will probably do so the first couple weeks of the season.

Here is the thing though. At the time when Damp was not coming back. Foyle was a FA, he had other teams pursuing him, we had not traded for DD yet, and who was going to play center? Robinson? Biedrens? Murphy? We had to resign him at all costs or really be under manned and undersized at center. Granted, now it looks like a bad signing, but at the time we had no choice. I just wish when we gave Damp to Dallas we could have gotten that Povel guy from them or at least Bradley...
