Coming back 20 down and scoring 33 points in the 4. The Nets need some of that heart.
9-2 since Stephen Jackson returned. Golden State did well making him a captain. People see why Tim Duncan said he loved playing with him and he's a great teammate.
The Nets need skilled players not miracle workers
Jason Kidd Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter.
The Nets have skill players they are lacking heart and mental toughness. Same thing Jason Kidd said last year before the season started. On paper the Nets look great. That's why every year before the season start you hear people picking them but when the season starts it's a different story.

This team lacks heart. Some people blame it on the fans, Vince Carter calm nature and other stuff.
It doesnt amtter how much heart the team has, as long as some players are not contributing then its all for naught. What player in the Golden State rotation isn't helping the team? The Nets on a nightly basis are playing with a handicap. The front court is non existent. Its easy to blame losses on the star players, but they are rarely the teams' problem. They are going up against well rounded teams. I dont even get what you mean by this team lacks heart. RJ, Kidd and Vince are putting up pretty good numbers. What player besides those 3 will crack the rotation of any playoff contender?
Dallas they had no heart neither did their star player and it showed the last two years.

No matter how much talent you have if you don't have the heart or the mental toughness then in the right situation you will end up as Dirk and the Mavs.
A 67 win team losing in the first round to an 8th seed team first time in the playoffs.

I saw a Dallas team loose to a team that was much better than their 8th seed record. I saw them loose to a team that was coached by a man who knew every single detail about the Dallas system. I saw Dallas loose to a Golden State team that simply had more talent than the Mavs. It had nothing to do with heart. Heart is unmeasurable. You need skilled players to win in the league.
Dirk was the only position on that Dallas team that you could say the Mavs had a clear advantage over Golden State. Every other position was in Golden State's favor.
This is the same problem facing the Nets, their only advantage is on the perimeter. Their bench and frontcourt is outplayed on a nightly basis, and by a huge margin too.
