C'mon guys. The Sonics forum is more jumping than this one right now! We should be livid after being on the other end of a 1 point loss.
It was a sad win with Nick Van Exel almost destroying it for the warriors. Not only does he foul on stupid plays he can't sink his free throws. I guess we had no choice but to let him play.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobeonfire:</div><div class="quote_post">Another one point loss, huh... - is this your reverse psychology at work?</div> Yup and we WON by 1. Good thing Radmonivic's foot was on the 3 point line so it didn't go into overtime. Then I think the warriors would find some way to ruin it and lose. Good job NVE, reeeal clutch with the fouls and the missed free throws.

I will reverse-jinx the warriors from now on and every day if I have to. I will predict 20 point losses for the warriors so the warriors will win by 20 instead, just like how tv announers jinx a shooter into missing when they say he's been "perfect" or "hasn't missed a shot yet". So with this said, the "Warriors will have Chris Cohan as owner for the next season and even more seasons after that" and "the Warriors will NEVER make the playoffs or be a NBA champion team this year or the year after and the year after and the year after, etc." and "every single warrior player except for one will be injured for the rest of the season and all play badly individually and as a team."
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Warriorfansnc93:</div><div class="quote_post">ha ha. Never happy huh? First it is Mussleman, now NVE.</div> It's both of them. Musselman is just caught up watching the game and NVE is just not playing the game. I'm not a fan of his defensive coordinator Tom Sterner either.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Warriorfansnc93:</div><div class="quote_post">Alright. I like that. Don't go Warriors! </div> Cardinal will miss 10 3-point shots in a row and never break his 32 point career high this year.
Ok, this is scaring me now. I hope we really are not jinxing the Warriors. We better stop now while we are ahead. haha
I'm not that down on NVE since we won. But still if that Radmonivic 3 had been a 3. NVE would have had several plays where it was his fault. First one for fouling and getting the sonics to complete a 3 point play and then the second for continuing to split free throws to put the game out of reach. I was like c'mon you can't blame missed free throws on your knees, Nick.

Saved by an extra shoe size. The Warriors were damned lucky on that play and then some of the foul calls. I never thought about what if Radmonovic had smaller feet. Did anyone see that Jrich and the Custodian were like acting buddy buddy, giving pats on the back. I guess because those two had realized that both of them need to step up in order to win. Brian Cardinal had 21pts. and Jrich had 24. Damp was important too since we need rebounding. And Cliff what a clutch shot.
It would not have mattered if he had smaller feet because if he did, he may have gotten behind the line, but he would not have had as much lift, thus would have come up short on the 3 pt attempt.
It was pretty obvious his foot was on the line, bad play by Radmonivic. You could easily see it when he stepped up too. First he was behind it, and he felt he needed to take an extra step foward, then took a step backward thinking he'd be back behind the 3 point line, but after all he wasn't. Warriors lucked out in this one. Even if he did make that basket to tie IMO Warriors would have locked it up in OT. You could tell the Sonics looked miserable after Lewis and Allen were fouled out.
Eh, the Warriors would have found SOME way to blow it. Does anyone have any stats on what the Warriors OT record is this year?
I can remember the Memphis loss and the Toronto loss. I can't remember if the Warriors even won in Overtime.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobeonfire:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm not sure about the OT record, but they're 4-10 in games decided by less than 5 points.</div> That is pretty bad. That alone proves my point about how they would have found some way to mess it up. Thank God they did not.
Of those games decided by less than 5 points, which games had the warriors in the lead by 5 or more points in the last 2 minutes of the game?
