<div class="quote_poster">Quoting realdealbneal:</div><div class="quote_post">Wow...a simple preview in the Warriors thread, and it turns into a "Kobe vs. the World" thread.

What Kobe has done to the US? Haha...come on.

There are over 360 players in the league, just off the top of my head. You can't sit here and say that out of those 360+ players that make millions a year and are away from their families, only Kobe makes bad decisions. Give me a break.

Back to topic, please. If I wanted to discuss this, I'd make a thread about it.</div>
    HAHAHA
Well you can't blame Kobe tho. If i had all the money he had, I would have done more. Whoever says some like "nah, even if i had millions of dollars, i'd only be with my girl" is.....umm....gay.

Wow good luck to both sides this should be an entertaining game as long as Dunleavy sits. Ha! [IMG]

What was I saying all along? Dunleavy is getting his butt handed to him on that matchup. Caron Butler already has 5 of 6. Way to go Dunleavy. Now it's Jumaine Jone's turn.

Oh well Dunleavy is getting to the line at least. I think that shot to the dome has him fired up. Finally. He's starting to drive more and get us some points. Maybe I should diss him some more for good luck. My kingdom for a defensive stop though. Caron Butler has 23 points.

Well we lost as predicted. Worst coaching ever. I'm puzzled as to why they left Cheaney out on the floor against Kobe when you have a defensive stopper right there in Mickael Pietrus.

I hate to say it, but the Lakers straight up beat us. We had them, but we couldn't make the best of our matchups to score in the 4th for the second game in a row. Murphy couldn't put in his shots, who knows what Richardson was doing, Cliff can't rebound, and Speedy. Speedy could have killed Atkins, but instead he gave us his worst game of the season (in my opinion).

Our players aside, the coaching in the 4th was terrible. Up by 4, and we give up 12 consecutive points without a timeout? Are you kidding me? People I liked the most today were Pietrus, Najera, and Dunleavy. Where were they in the 4th? Pietrus shuts down Kobe, scores 7 points on 1-2 fg and 4-4 ft and only gets 9 minutes? Cliff has earned his veteran minutes and effectively shut down Odom, but I would really like to see Najera get more minutes down the stretch. Dunleavy cut well, passed very well, and made some shots. His poor defense early on killed him, but it was still one of his best looking games.

The one thing that kept Pietrus out of the game that I was happy about was Richardson's defense. We just need him to give that effort when playing against mediocre guards.

In one hand, it's glad to see that this team is playing better than beginning of the season. In other hand, after 1/5 of the game, we still have zero quality win against half way decent team, when all other teams have at least one win against decent team. It has been a painful 20% of the season so far...

I agree custodian. The only thing I could think of is that Cheaney is much more level headed on offense, and Pietrus can get himself into trouble sometimes. In retrospect, his energy may have been enough to hold the lead. Hopefully the coaches are learning from their mistakes.

too many outside shots in the 4th quarter by the Warriors. the Warriors could've driven the ball a lot more. and in the last minte they gave up. not even 3rd graders give up during the final minute when I watch them play

Well it didn't help that Fisher was in the game, at least Dunleavy was choosing to drive more and use his size and step to finish. I'd have to say Derek Fisher is pretty high up there on those momentum killers along with Dunleavy Jr. almost every single game. Cheaney is all right, but he's doing the same thing as last year to Pietrus. It's b.s.
