I've only vague ideas what you're talking about with Grant as I do let things go, but if you provide a link I'd be happy to review whatever it is you're referring to as your recap doesn't ring true to me yet seems to be very personal for you. My basic position on Grant has not really changed. Well before he was a Blazer, I thought he was a good player and said so in many threads speculating on him. However, I was also on record not for acquiring him for the Bucks 2024 pick as they were far far away from contending with or without him and he's not on the timeline of the next wave of a potential Blazer contender. Regardless, he has easily been their best forward since Sheed and Pip. I did very much want Jalen Duren, who the Pistons turned around and traded that same pick for. Duren is off to an outstanding start of his young career. No need to go too in depth: You spoke about needing to trade for Grant. A lot of us were skeptical because he was unwilling to take a lesser role. You decide to start replying to people with a bunch of “I told you so”s. I literally send you the link to a YT video of Grant saying he needed to change his mindset about just being a main guy on a bad team. Our skepticism was confirmed by Grant himself, you ended with “it doesn’t matter, all that matters if you guys changed your mind, I told you so” when you in fact told nobody nothing I just have a problem with you calling someone a tool without looking in the mirror.
