Hmmmm.... so since this post Golden State has....

    Miami? Loss.

    Dallas? Loss.

    Now 15-17.
    11th in the West.
5th in their division. (that's last place btw)
11th worst record in the league

It's not my fault that the board thinks you're a tool. It's because you keep acting like one.

Golden State losing a couple games does in no way change the stupidity of your statement that they can't beat elite teams when they'd just beat Boston. It just doesn't. Now go have another temper tantrum

They haven’t lost “a couple games.” They have lost 17 games. Actually.

And I never used the word “elite.” I said good. Beating one or two good teams does not disprove the fact that they have a shit record against good teams. Big whoop. They beat Boston one time lol. The Blazers have beaten a couple good teams. Are we a good team now? Lol

First, moving the goal posts in a conversation is one of the many reasons it's pointless to engage with you. Coming off of beating the Celtics who had and have the best record in the league, you said the Warriors "CAN'T beat good teams". Pointing out reality to you earned me a pissy temper tantrum. That you won't stand by what you said and want to twist that stupidity into something else is typical.

They lost "a couple games" since you stepped in it and now are back to nip at my ankles with misplaced I told you so's and mindless conjecture. Lol-ing over your own confused pretzel logic... the sad

    last, no one cares

You responded to a post that was over 2 days old when it easily could have been dropped or ignored, so clearly you care.

I really like that 2nd lottery pick in 2024. I don't care that this draft class is NOT generational (per media consensus.)

Play hard. Make incremental growth. Decide who to trade and keep. Lose a lot.

    Curry - 35 (36 in 2 months); 3 years of contract ($51.9 million / 55.8 / 59.6)
Thompson - 33 (34 in a month); final year of contract ($43 million)
    Paul - 38, 2 years contract ($30.8 million / $30)
    Green - 33 (34 in 2 months); 4 years contact ... they'd like to trade away

Extend Klay for 2 years and he and Curry retire at the same time? Or let his big contract go away this summer ... which means they're in rebuild with no cap room -- hard to believe they'll do that.
Find a contending taker for Green -- at a discount.

Their youth is Wiggins (29 in 2 months), Looney (28 in a month). Wiggins is useful (as is Looney), but when they go young in 3 years (maybe 2), they will be on the wrong side of 30. How soon do they look to trade to sneaky start the rebuild? This summer?
Kuminga and Moody (21) are not what I'd build around.

The window has closed. Hate to see it. /s
Kerr has to be looking at the Spurs just waiting for the old dude to retire and leave him the keys to Wemby.
Following the 2025-26 season, it's rebuild and suck.

Thanks for the pick! [And the 2nd rounders, too.]

When local sports media talks about Draymond Green saving the season for the Warriors, you know they're in trouble.

How did the Blazers get the Warriors pick? The Lillard/Nurk/Nas/Keon for Holiday/Ayton/Brogdan/Williams/Camara was a bit of a whirlwind.

soo... the Celtics gave up draft pick gold to try and win a championship? What a bunch of idiots! Wait until Miami beats them again, everyone in Boston will demand the GM's resignation.

You were the same guy that went on an “I told you so” tirade on the Jerami Grant thread last season when you didn’t tell anyone anything. You also constantly moved the goal post in that thread, then ended with “it doesn’t matter, all that matters that he’s here” then did the whole “I just came to read through these comments with my morning coffee to have a laugh”. LOL.

Quit playing like you don’t care. It’s just sports. It ain’t serious. You seem like you care way to much to ever say “no one cares” in an argument. Just saying, dude.

No one cares about this back and forth so much that it needs to be brought up again and again and again.

I've only vague ideas what you're talking about with Grant as I do let things go, but if you provide a link I'd be happy to review whatever it is you're referring to as your recap doesn't ring true to me yet seems to be very personal for you. My basic position on Grant has not really changed. Well before he was a Blazer, I thought he was a good player and said so in many threads speculating on him. However, I was also on record not for acquiring him for the Bucks 2024 pick as they were far far away from contending with or without him and he's not on the timeline of the next wave of a potential Blazer contender. Regardless, he has easily been their best forward since Sheed and Pip. I did very much want Jalen Duren, who the Pistons turned around and traded that same pick for. Duren is off to an outstanding start of his young career.

Again, I'd be happy to review this Grant thread you are bent about but rather then bore the entire board with it maybe we could hammer this out in PMs?

If someone is a fucking dick towards me, I'm going to respond. So sorry that I'd been traveling back home following the holidays and not keeping up with what you deem as a time appropriate response.

Then don't say nobody cares when you're clearly all up in your feelings about it.

Lol, not bent over anything. I was using that as an example of you caring so much about something that you wanted to be petty over it. No need to go too in depth: You spoke about needing to trade for Grant. A lot of us were skeptical because he was unwilling to take a lesser role. You decide to start replying to people with a bunch of “I told you so”s. I literally send you the link to a YT video of Grant saying he needed to change his mindset about just being a main guy on a bad team. Our skepticism was confirmed by Grant himself, you ended with “it doesn’t matter, all that matters if you guys changed your mind, I told you so” when you in fact told nobody nothing :blahblah:

I just have a problem with you calling someone a tool without looking in the mirror. Not defending @Natebishop3 or anything like that, I just hate inconsistency. A lot of us are assholes on this forum, including myself. I’ve gone at it with plenty of dudes on here, never thought of it as more than basketball debate. No need to say anything in the DMs. Have a good day dude.

The original reply was just me reminding you that the “no one cares” is rich. Not trying to antagonize, just reminding you that you are often what you hate. :)

Maybe that’s your problem. Why do you think you always feel the need to respond to someone who is being a dick to you? Do you feel better after doing so? Again, a lot of this seems to stem from caring too much.

Don’t you feel like sometimes, the strong thing to do is not respond? At least, that’s what folk wisdom has taught me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Anyways…

This Orlando team’s shooting is just brutal. They need Brogdon at the deadline more than any other team.

I can be an asshole. I can be condescending. I can be a know it all. But I generally don’t read someone’s post and instead of responding to the basketball topic, instead call that person out for some bullshit personal feeling I have about that person. But if they attack me first, I will attack back.

Just jumped on this thread to read the latest about the GSW pick. Scrolled thru 2 pages with no content about the thread topic.

I’m starting to get the hang of how this is going though. Here we go -
    I’m right.
    I didn’t say that.
    Your post is ugly.
