    They are. So is Houston.

    Fun fact:

Orlando has 1 winning season in the last 13, including 7 (SEVEN!) with fewer than 30 wins.

There is no way this fanbase would be able to handle that here.

Banchero picked things up, he's gotta be climbing player of the month.
Paolo in November: 21/7/4/1/1 50% & 51% shooting. The main thing is the Magic are winning, all the power rankers can go stuff it.

This does not warrant a “pick watch” thread, but I’m putting it out there in case anyone cares or is excited about it:

Blazers own the more favorable of the Minny and Charlotte 2nds, unprotected. Charlotte currently is just 2 games behind us in the loss column, with LaMelo set to miss significant time. His first ankle injury looks like it happened last October and has persisted into this season (36gp last year).

They’re currently sitting at the 7th best odds for the #1 pick, and losing LaMelo is only going to help them climb the odds. We are looking at the pick that could be as good as 31 and probably as bad as 35, essentially a late 1st.

    Thanks for clarifying that.

LaMelo Ball PG Tue, Nov 28 Ankle Expected to be out until at least Dec 23

Assuming the Blazers miss the playoffs, they'll have their own 1st round pick and the following:
    • 2024 first-round pick via Golden State (top-4 protected)
    • 2024 second-round pick (via Minnesota or Charlotte, more favorable)
    • 2024 second-round pick (via Atlanta)

Yup. I’m not sure why, I only came to the realization that the CHA 2nd could be valuable like 20 minutes ago. The ATL 2nd will probably be between 40-45, nothing to get excited over, but could probably move us up a few spots with the CHA pick to secure who we want.

I think we’re in a perfect spot for the ‘24 draft honestly. 2 (basically 3) 1st round talents from the same year is plenty, 3 might even be too many considering the reputation of this current class. An eventual Grant or Brogdon (maybe even Ant) trade should bring back picks in ‘25 or later.

Warriors are in trouble. CP3 and GP2 both go down with injuries tonight . Their December schedule is pretty tough. We play them twice in December so we need to win those games.

Didn’t watch the game, were they bad? I wonder how long they’ll be out for.

That damn Warriors medical staff keeps forcing GP2 to play when he's already hurt. I demand an investigation!

CP3 was a lower leg injury and GP was a calf injury. We know that calf injuries are tricky and can result in being out for a while.

Just in. Looks like we’ll be playing them 3 times in December due to not qualifying for the knockout rounds of the IST

I wonder if GPII and CP3 are going to be missing all 3 games.

I was excited to get this pick when the trade happened, and it sure looks like this pick alone by itself might be better than the Heat offer
