Ehhh, I don't think he was. He was a good starter but not quite a borderline star. Horford was an all star just last year.
If he had been playing in the NBA since he was 19 I might agree with that, but to say he'll decline athletically at age 27 after only 5 years in the league is wrong, especially since he takes care of himself.

Yeah I hope one of CJ, Vonleh, Meyers, Plumlee, or someone becomes an above average starter next season then we don't really have to worry about it at all. But if none of these guys make a big leap... the future won't be good.
Based off per 36 stats Meyers and Plumlee coulda been considered above average last year. No need to worry, just don't ever suggest trading Dame again haha.
