I know, I try, but in this case it's impossible. The Blazers shouldn't even go to SA. They should just forfeit and save themselves the embarassment. I think the future could be bright, but I worry that if they get too humiliated they'll decide collectively to retire from the game of basketball and move to Alaska under new identities.
I have not been as totally befuddled about a matchup in a long time. I can see the Blazers getting swept, but I can also see the Spurs getting swept. most likely it's going to be a grueling 6 or 7 game matchup that will come down to some late game heroics (Lillard hopefully). Good luck!
Thanks for kind thoughts. When Lillard beats the Spurs at the buzzer, you won't be wishing he tears an ACL like Houston fans did. I watched Olbermann last night, he was talking about this matchup and how everyone has been saying the Spurs are too old for about 10 years but they keep coming back. But sooner or later the torch will be passed to a new generation...
