What part of that post was insulting to your family? The part where I said he seemed like a good dude?

He was being sincere. Your son is very nice and I enjoyed talking to him about basketball. It's cool that he's a Blazer fan.

You seemed offended at the mention of your son, so I'm guessing there's something in my post that insulted you :dunno:

Ha, ha! Your reverse jinx won't work! (I hope.)

Best record in the league; best coach in the league; most playoff experience in the league; home court advantage; superior bench...Yeah, the Spurs are in trouble all right. ;)

Not at all. Actually I'm very happy and suprised to see everyone praising my Spurs. Glad to see people appreciative of the
success we've had for 15+ years. You guys are classy. Awesome!

Hey thank you all for all the kind comments. If we lose to you guys, which I think will be in 6 games, I'm DEFINITELY rooting for you guys to go all the way. Tim Duncan has nothing but good things to say about LaMarcus and the rest of the team, so that's all I need to hear.

A little Spurs and Blazers trivia for you guys.

Since the 2008-09 season only ONE team owns a winning record against us, going 14-7 in that span, can you guys guess what team that is? LA? Nope! Miami? Nope! Yes, your Blazers. Out of the 7 games we've won, only ONE was in your arena
and that was this year when LaMarcus went down in the 2nd quarter.

This showed up on my FB wall for a FB friend in San Antonio. Gotta respect the passion of their fanbase (minus one Portlander Spurs fan I know who's always talking trash).

Damn the OP, damn you. This is hard to watch after all of those good games against Houston haha. Oh well if we have to lose to any team, I want it to be the Spurs.

It's just one game. We played our best and you guys struggled. That's not going to happen again. You guys have the youth on your side. The longer this series goes the better the chances are that you guys will pull it out.

Whoever wins Game 2 wins the series, which I still think will be you guys.

    Spurs 1 Blazers 0

    Cheers, guys! \m/

Indeed, the Spurs came to play tonight and the Blazers did not. I still have a lot of confidence that the team will put it together for game 2 and make this a real series, I just don't see us playing this badly again. Now, hopefully the Spurs don't play THIS well again either.
