I don't know what he ended up with tonight, but he really struggled in the 3rd!

    Roy is the problem.

They were also made clear back in July... and it's the same argument.

Unlike you, I'm pretty level-headed and consistent.

Yes, you think Roy is "selfish". It's "scary" to you. I get it. Congrats on the consistency.

Well, as a Blazers fan, the idea of the team's best player being selfish is scary.

I could understand how that'd be confusing if you weren't a fan... but then I'd wonder why you've accumulated 8000 posts here, too.

Roy has averaged 5 assists per game in his career. This makes him "selfish" to you. :dunno:

My post count has nothing to do with your bashing of Roy.

    Explain your bashing of Roy.

Why do we have to worship Roy? Right now he sucks and so does his attitude. Every player in the NBA enters the league accustomed to being the No. 1 option. Almost all have to change fast. His maturing has been delayed 3 years. It's time for him to play with the team. He needs to cut all the lip against Miller and recognize his leader. The PG is usually a team's playmaker and ruler, and Roy can start licking his toes right now. And when Blake's in, the same applies.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Roy might be better suited to come off the bench, with Blake. Those two work well together and imagine how disheartening it will be for opponents to be pummeled by Miller and Oden, only to have their reserves deal with Portland's starting backcourt of last year, which did quite well last year!

Also, consider: Roy has won Rookie Of The Year, made the All-Star and All-NBA teams. Next step: Sixth Man Of The Year. He can then aim at the MVP and go for the awards cycle.

    :)

jlprk is the last of the ESPN holdovers. I'm convinced he has a third eye on his forehead after so many years of posting on ESPN.

Miller didn't have a single assist to Oden tonight. :dunno:

A couple times tonight he set up plays for Greg down low though. As guys were looking what to do next, he would yell at Greg to go get position down low and told other guys to dump the ball down to him. He might not have officially received a dime for it, but he got Greg at least 2 easy buckets that same way.

Oden was 8-10 from the field. He should have had more shots. :dunno:

And ... Miller had 15 shots compared to Oden's 10 shots.

Ah, so you mistakenly responded to me? That sounds like a snippet from a different discussion, maybe one about who took more shots. ;)

    Re: Goodbye Outlaw, Hello Miller

I get the feeling Nate and KP already regret their blunder, and are already looking for a way out.

    Deal coming soon!

Outlaw- going back to the original theme- is a bargain at 4 million. Instant offense off the bench- can't ask for much more from a bench player.

Roy- too early to tell. Hopefully we keep with the RAMWO lineup so it has a chance to gell during the rest of the preseason.
