I like your approach in theory, but for it to be relevant you're going to have to try to convince the SAT Nazis that kids should be allowed such leeway when taking college entrance exams. I doubt you would be able to affect their scoring system with your logic and the effect might be a kid not making it into their school of choice.
The one that bugs me is when people try to spell all gangster and purposely spell words wrong. It hurts to read.
haha, the only word I wont say or write, even with the "a" at the end is the N-word. Not that I'm against others using it with forethought and with respect to context, but I doubt I'll ever touch that word.
Their versus there versus they're. And your versus you're. There are a few others I've noticed that drive me a wee bit crazy, including one in this thread, but I'm learning to let them go, as I learn to accept that many of you guys are complete idiots.
That's funny because I tutor high school kids on SAT/ACT English and writing. I tell them that this shit is a hoop they have to jump through and then can pretty much forget it. If they're going to get the basics wrong then they will get graded down for it pretty hard in college. But who here knows when you use who and when you use whom? Who (or whom?) really cares?
lol ive never said finna. I think that's more prevalent on the east coast. But I say gonna a lot, probably too much.
Lol yeah. I just like how people use "finna" as a replacement for several different words. I've only used it jokingly after hearing someone else use it when out and about.
It's "won't", btw. It drives me crazy when people who complain about grammar don't properly use apostrophes. :MARIS61:
I follow Aaron Paul on Twitter and he fucks everything up! Come watch the finale episode with me inside of a cemetery!! Who's loosing it right now? I'm to scared to sleep.
