Hence my comment about a hasty fire cronin thread that seemed to ruffle feathers.
This was a good start but the Blazers still have more moves and in my opinion MUST use the Bledsoe contract for something but if i was to give this a grade RIGHT now ---
No doubt it’s a albatross lol. But when he plays, he’s still very productive, 16ppg and almost 20ppg the year before that.
I guess it all depends on if you feel like Nas can start next to Grant. Personally, I would want to see him starting over trading #7 for OG.
If your bench was, say,
Hart/Hayward/Watford + #7 and #13 off the bench, then I’m happy to overpay him for a year while Nas is still on the last his rookie contract, then trade him next year if need be when he only has one year $30m on his deal. I feel like it would be a win now move that doesn’t hurt the future.
I’ll ask you, do you think Nas could start for us next year if we are a contending team?
Can’t trade him.
Yeah, but we have to remember, he's a free agent and he can't be traded.
good question. I’d say if Nas were to stay healthy, yes. Pretty big if though. But yeah I still believe in him.
Anyone catch Woj on sportscenter? Said they’ll look to extend Grant and re-sign Nurk.
No mention of Simons?
If we can extend him from 6'8" to 7' we won't need to re-sign Nurk.
The makings of an unstable locker room!!!
You're a dog. You hump legs and eat crap.
He eats my crap. Kitty roca.
That's MyLe's number. You don't want it anyway, Josh.
It's Arvidas Sabonis's number too.
Yeah, him and Dickau
Eubanks wasn't born here, but grew up here.
He's just as injury prone if not more than OG
If he can put together a decent year, year after could be his impact year for the playoffs?
Seeing the team get torn down is tough. People overreact in the moment.
