    LMAO, you had no idea what was going on bro. Voodoo Child made a bunch of posts that were irrelevant first and then they were deleted before you viewed the thread. I made a post before they had gotten deleted and as a joke the other moderators left my one irrelevant post so that I looked dumb. It was just a joke. I didn't delete anyone's posts, I don't have even the power to do that. Outside of the Magic forum, I can't moderate posts. It was a misunderstanding and I don't see why you're even bringing it up.

    As for deception being banned I also didn't realise that was the case when i posted the thread and i feel like a chump for calling him out when he can't even reply. My lasts thoughts on Deception was the he is a bright individual who at times got carried away trying to say something provocative when there was no substance to back up what he was saying.</div>

    I think we can all agree that Deception was a pretty decent guy. That last month it just seemed he went off the deep end and attacked practically everyone.

    <div class="quote_poster">Drunkballer Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The only reason i brought up his quote about bosh was because i feel our posters benefit from hindsight being 20/20 and at times we all say dumb things something like: Fire Sam Mitchell, sign Nikoloz Tskitishvili, Draft Chris Taft with #16 overall(something i preached hard prior to the 05 draft.) and these comments are conveniently forgotten when the next thread comes around and we all go back to sounding like experts.
    </div>

    You are right that we benefit from refering to what we say in the past. I'm sure we've all made posts that were tremendously off base. Personally, I wanted Gerald Green or Granger with the #7 pick instead of Charlie V (this is embarassing).

    I don't think we're all crazy when we criticise Sam Mitchell though. While he is improving as a coach he still work in plenty of areas. I would be more satisified with someone else if we could get a decent canidate for the job.

    Do you think the players might be a little hostile to a coaching change? This is the problem that was bothering me last season, when I wanted to get rid of Mike James. From the outside, it's easy to say that he was hurting the team, but when you're on the floor with him it's harder to recognize. I know Peterson would probably welcome a coaching change, but how about players that Mitchell has had a hand in developing (Bosh, Calderon, Ford)? I mean, despite his incompetence, he's maintained an excellent locker room.

    It's hard to say if that would be the case or not. On the one hand I look at players Calderon and Bosh who seem to tune Mitchell out at times when he's talking to them. On the other hand we are playing well and the players on the team must appreciate what Mitchell does for them.

    It could also be a case of we have a quality group of players who aren't prone to complain. I know Swirsky always says crap like that but in this case it seems to be true. There is hardly a guy on this team that likes to cause a disturbance. This would make it hard to get a read on how the players would feel about Mitchell coming back.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Recognition of Bosh and Bargnani has become nearly rote these days, and Raptors president and general manager Bryan Colangelo's status as daring architect goes unchallenged. But praise for Mitchell? That's news.

    Until recently, he was commonly viewed as, at best, a place-warmer for whatever candidate Colangelo planned to parachute in next season (and surely there's a plan, the thinking goes); or more cynically, the most likely to catch Colangelo's first bullet if things went wrong.

    But as the season progresses and momentum builds, questions about Mitchell's future will grow louder as the end of his contract — up after this season — gets nearer.</div> Micheal Grange wrote a pretty good piece in the Globe today that sums up the Mitchell Situation Grange

    This has got to be a first in NBA history, right? Bravo for Bosh and Bargnani, although I actually let out a chuckle when I heard Mitchell was COTM.

    I think the raptors shouldn't make a coaching change just for the sake of making a change. If you can lock up a youngerish coaching mind that has the potential/+ eperience to grow with this team and really instill a plan of attack and show and adeptness for making necessary changes. I think this team right now can be badly outcoached in a seven game series. I don't think Sam could/would be able to come up with plays/schemes that can change things that would help this team win games, and adjust to what another team throws at them.
