Lyrical talent is definatley the number #1 factor that should be taken into account when deciding if a rapper is "the best", and that was somthing Tupac was decent at, but not fantastic.
tupac had a lot of emotion, but lyrically was nowhere near the best....and as far as influence I think artist such as Run DMC, Rakim, Public Enemy, Ice T, etc. had a bigger "influence" on the game than Pac.....with that being said Pac still makes my top 10.
