Some of my favorites are Green Street Hooligans, Field of Dreams, Goal!, Happy Gilmore, The Greatest Game Ever Played, Remember the Titans, Space Jam, Talladega Nights, The Waterboy, and Angels in the Outfield.

I acknowledged that the movies exist (you forgot "The Greatest Game ever Played", or the recently made "The Long Game")... just didn't want to give golf any respect.

If it weren't for the slave violence thing, Gladiator and Ben Hur are great movies. It was considered a sport in context but probably not viewed as such today. Hidalgo is also a great movie about long distance horse racing. Another car race movie with Matt Damon and Christain Bale was Ford vs Ferrari

The Bruce Lee story with Jason Lee playing Bruce is a great movie but man there are a ton of Kung Fu movies to list. Karate Kid for one

Oooh, kung fu movies. I gotta put 'Ip Man' in the debate if it qualifies.

    The Longest Yard from 1974

the remake with Sandler was too goofy, the original was a lot better movie.

North Dallas Forty is a great football movie from the late 70's.

It's arguably Nick Nolte's best movie alongside "Three Fugitives" (the 14% Rotten Tomatoes rating is too high. I'd give it 1%. It has opening credits and end credits, proving Three Fugitives is a completed movie)
