I have no idea what that is so there was no need to comment on it. Also it seems like it's something you enjoy so I didn't want to saying bad about it.

Seriously. This thread took a wrong turn and went clean off the rails.

I knew we should have drafted Lew Alcindor instead of Joel Freeland.

Can someone change this tweet for Lillard's account? Something like "@Dame_Lillard hits another lucky three. Most overrated PG in the NBA."

So, the question for me is...is Damian having the best three years of any PG in Blazer history? I think so, and my favorite all time Blazer is Terry Porter.

Probably, yes. But I think part of it all is seein how/what the team does. If the team advances to the 2nd round, at least, then yes. I'd like to see us make Western Finals. There are stay guys, and then there are those that carry a team. From what I can tell, Dame can and does carry a team. I need to continue to see team growth/development as well as player growth/development (which I'm seeing both thus far).

I knew Dame would be good. Honestly, I never thought he'd be THIS good. If LA is sticking around to break franchise records, he may as well leave now. Several records he could set could be erased a few years later by Dame.

Anyone that would say he knew he would be this good is a fucking liar! That's what's so awesome about his story! He came out of know where and took control of the league. That's rare!

Believe the SC Lillard/Aldridge did together Aldridge mentioned he wanted to be the best Blazer of all time.. Then jokingly added that Lillard has told him he won't be for long as Lillard wants it too so.. I'm sure it's something they'll look back on fondly once all is said and done.

Nobody can say they knew he'd be this good but I remember watching his college sizzle reel and seeing that he had it. His team was crap but he was amazing. That all of it transferred to the NBA is spectacular.

I knew he was something special 10 games in. In fact, if you look back, I said he will be an allstar his second year during his rookie campaign. But I didn't think he could get to the level he is now so quickly.

    He's an amazing player!

Summer league was an eye opener for me. The guy was just so obviously poised and ready to contribute. I had no doubt he would have an impact right away, I just had no idea how much of an impact and how quickly.

He certainly only gets half as many turnovers.

Mags, love you brother. But you're such a homer, nobody knows when your opinions are legit or you're just ball-gargling. That being said, Lillard showed early he was legit.

Like another Oakland player, Lillard is too legit to quit.
